Is travel required for this position?

Yes, but the amount of travel depends upon the client.  Many consultant companies have a required ‘face to face’ time with a client.  We leave that up to the client. 

Can I only work remote consulting projects for Excel?

Typically, we do not have remote only projects.  When those projects come up they are taken very quickly.  Our consultants are on the road traveling to clients many weeks in a given year.

What is a typical week for an Excel Consultant?

A typical week starts with a travel day on Monday to the project site, then working through the day.  Tuesday and Wednesday are long days on site at the project.  After about half the day on Thursday the consultant travels back.  Friday entails remote work, expense reports, and other week-end activities.  We base everything our consultants do off of client needs, so this schedule is always subject to change.

How quickly can I be placed on a project?

Once we get a resume we can share your knowledge of MEDITECH with our clients.  After that happens, you then have to interview with the client and sell yourself to them.  It’s an easy process.
